Aftercare and urgent concerns

Aftercare and Urgent Concerns

Product-specific aftercare is issued in writing after an appropriate consultation, consent and treatment. Public web guidance cannot replace those individual instructions.

If another clinic treated you

Follow the written instructions supplied by your treating practitioner and contact them directly about unexpected symptoms. Do not use the consultation form for urgent care or delay assessment while waiting for a website or WhatsApp reply.

Seek urgent medical help

Call 999 or attend A&E for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, including any vision change, breathing or swallowing difficulty, severe weakness, or severe pain with white, grey, blue or mottled skin after an injectable procedure.

This list is not exhaustive. If you are unsure how urgent a symptom is, use NHS 111 or an appropriate medical service.

Current aftercare arrangements

  • Treatment-specific written instructions are issued after treatment
  • A clear route is provided for routine and urgent concerns
  • Expected effects, material risks and warning signs are explained
  • Follow-up timing and any cost are agreed in advance
  • Clinical records are kept in the approved patient-record system
