Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the clinic, treatments and aftercare. For a consultation request, use the consultation form.
Before Treatment
Do I need a consultation before treatment?
+
Yes. The process requires an appropriate consultation before treatment is considered. Dr Niru will review relevant history, assess the concern, explain suitable options, limitations and alternatives, and allow time for questions. There is no pressure to proceed.
How long does a consultation take?
+
The initial consultation is free. Its appointment length and booking terms are confirmed before an appointment is accepted.
Can I have treatment on the same day as my consultation?
+
Do not assume so. It depends on the treatment, clinical assessment, consent and any prescribing requirements. You are always welcome to take time to consider the written information and return another day.
Do I need to bring anything to my consultation?
+
A list of medications you take, any allergies, and a clear idea of what bothers you (not what treatment you think you want). Photos in good daylight can be helpful too.
About Dr Niru
What are Dr Niru's qualifications?
+
Dr Niru qualified with a BDS from Manipal in 2005 and has more than 15 years of wider dental clinical experience. She is a registered dentist and states that she has undertaken additional facial-aesthetics training; procedure-specific competence and current indemnity remain separate checks.
Why a dental surgeon for aesthetic treatments?
+
Dental training includes facial anatomy, clinical assessment and patient care, all of which are relevant to facial aesthetics. Registration alone does not establish competence for every procedure, so you should also check the practitioner's specific training, indemnity and complication arrangements. See the credentials page for Dr Niru's details.
What should I check about the practitioner?
+
Ask about the named practitioner's relevant training, recent experience, current indemnity, product traceability, consent process and arrangements for aftercare and urgent concerns.
Treatments
Which treatments do you offer?
+
The service includes consultations for lines and wrinkles, dermal and lip fillers, Profhilo, skin boosters, and practitioner-guided skincare. Prescription-only options are not advertised and can only be considered after an individual clinical assessment.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
+
The consultation-preparation tool can organise your concerns, but it does not recommend treatment. Browse the concern guides or request an individual consultation.
Do you offer before & after photos?
+
Azim Aesthetics does not currently publish a clinic results gallery. Only genuine photographs with specific written patient consent will be considered for publication, and public advertising rules still apply.
Do you offer combined treatments or packages?
+
No treatment package is currently on sale or available to reserve. The treatment-planning page explains what an individual written proposal should cover; any combination would still need to be clinically suitable and agreed after consultation.
Safety
What happens if something goes wrong?
+
Before treatment, Dr Niru will explain the clinic's complications and escalation protocol. If you ever have severe symptoms or vision changes after filler, call 999 or attend A&E rather than relying on a website, voicemail or WhatsApp message.
Is it safe to have treatments while pregnant?
+
The clinic will not provide cosmetic injectable treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell the practitioner about pregnancy, breastfeeding or plans to conceive, and seek appropriate advice for your own circumstances.
Do you treat anyone under 18?
+
No. The clinic will not provide or arrange cosmetic injectable appointments for anyone under 18. Proof of age may be requested before booking and again before treatment.
Do you use licensed products?
+
The clinic distinguishes licensed medicines from regulated medical devices. Products are sourced through legitimate UK supply chains, with batch, expiry and storage records kept for traceability.
Pricing & Booking
How much do treatments cost?
+
The pricing page lists the current public prices for consultations and non-prescription services. Factual fees connected with a possible prescription-only option are available only after the relevant consultation information. Every patient receives a written total before deciding whether to proceed.
Do you require a deposit?
+
Sending a consultation request is free. Any appointment deposit and payment terms will be supplied before a booking is confirmed.
What's your cancellation policy?
+
Cancellation and refund terms will be supplied before you confirm an appointment.
Do you offer finance?
+
Finance is not currently offered. Accepted payment methods are confirmed before booking.
How do I book?
+
Use the consultation form online or contact 07413 812 129 by phone or WhatsApp. A request does not confirm an appointment; Dr Niru will reply with suitable options.
Location
Where are you based?
+
Azim Aesthetics is at Sunset Lodge, Woodchurch Road, Appledore, Kent TN26 2BJ. Use the live directions link because travel time varies by route and traffic, and confirm arrival arrangements before your appointment.
Is there parking?
+
Please confirm arrival arrangements when your appointment is arranged. Confirm the current arrival instructions before travelling.
Do you offer home visits?
+
Home visits are not currently offered. Appointments take place at the Appledore clinic unless Dr Niru confirms otherwise.
Aftercare
How soon can I go back to work?
+
It depends on the treatment and your response. Redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can affect some patients for longer than others. Treatment-specific recovery and aftercare will be explained before you consent.
Can I exercise after treatment?
+
Follow the treatment-specific instructions you receive. Advice varies by procedure and individual risk, so a universal time limit is not appropriate for every patient.
What if I have concerns after treatment?
+
Confirmed patients will receive treatment-specific aftercare contact instructions. For severe symptoms or any vision change after filler, call 999 or attend A&E; do not rely on a website or WhatsApp message for emergency care.
