Is 0.5ml of cheek filler enough?
A quantity seen in a search result or price menu cannot decide what is suitable. The same volume can behave differently depending on the product, placement, baseline anatomy and any filler already present.
An individual assessment should first clarify the concern, previous treatment, asymmetry, realistic limits and whether a non-filler option or no treatment would be more appropriate. If filler is considered, the proposed product, amount, staging, material risks and complete cost should be explained in writing before treatment.
Joining the opening priority list does not select 0.5ml, reserve treatment or establish suitability.
Why mid-face volume matters
Facial fat, bone and skin change over time, which can alter cheek contour and shadows. The pattern is individual and age alone does not establish a need for treatment.
Filler may be one option for selected volume concerns. Placement, product, limitations, alternatives and vascular risk need to be considered before any plan is agreed.

Cheek filler before and after — what to expect, week by week

Immediately after (Day 0)
Volume change and swelling may be visible immediately. The early appearance is not a reliable final result.

Swelling or bruising may be settling, although recovery can take longer. Follow the individual aftercare supplied.

Around week 2 — early review point
A standardised clinical photograph may help review the change once early swelling has reduced. Some effects can take longer to settle.

Review the result, any side effects and whether the original goal was met. More filler is not automatically required.

Later reassessment
Any later treatment should follow a fresh assessment of remaining filler, benefit, risk, cost and preference. There is no automatic maintenance schedule.

Is 0.5ml of cheek filler enough?+
0.5ml is a product volume, not a suitability rule or a promised result. Whether any amount is appropriate depends on anatomy, asymmetry, previous filler, the selected product, the intended area and the degree of change being considered. An assessment may support a staged plan, a different option, referral or no filler.
How much cheek filler do I need?+
There is no universal amount. Anatomy, previous filler, product and goals all matter. Dr Niru may discuss a conservative staged plan or conclude that filler is not appropriate after assessment.
How long does cheek filler last?+
Duration varies by product, placement and individual response. Product information may provide an estimate measured in months, but a specific result or duration cannot be guaranteed.
Will cheek filler give me a 'pillow face' look?+
Overfilling, product choice, placement and previous filler can all affect appearance. A conservative plan reduces but does not remove the risk of dissatisfaction, asymmetry or an unwanted result.
Does cheek filler lift the lower face?+
Cheek filler may alter mid-face contour or shadows in a suitable patient, but it is not a surgical lift and cannot be relied on to correct lower-face laxity. Expected limits should be discussed before treatment.
How painful is cheek filler?+
Comfort varies. The exact product and available comfort measures will be discussed with relevant allergies and risks before treatment; do not assume every product contains the same ingredients.
How much does cheek filler cost?+
The Azim Clinic's launch price has not yet been approved. Confirmed public prices for non-prescription services will be published before bookings open, with the product, amount, inclusions and individual total confirmed before treatment.
What is the recovery like?+
Swelling, tenderness, redness or bruising can occur and may last longer than expected for some people. Treatment-specific aftercare and urgent warning signs will be explained before consent.
Is cheek filler reversible?+
Corrective options depend on the product and situation. Some hyaluronic acid filler may be reduced using a separate prescribed procedure, but that has its own risks and cannot guarantee restoration of the previous appearance. Filler should not be described as fully reversible.
