This page explains what cookies and similar technologies we use on theazimclinic.co.uk, why we use them, and how you can control them. We comply with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember things like your preferences, or to measure how the site is used. Some cookies are essential for the site to work; others are optional.

Non-identifying campaign and consultation-link context is carried in link parameters and the current page's memory during normal site navigation. If you accept analytics, the limited labels described above are also held in sessionStorage for the current tab. Unrecognised query parameters are ignored and landing pages are stored as paths without query strings. On the contact page, the complete query is removed from the browser address before optional analytics loads. The context is attached to an enquiry only when you choose to submit one.
We do not use:
- Facebook Pixel or other social-media tracking pixels
- Remarketing lists or behavioural advertising audiences
- Enhanced conversions or uploads of contact details to advertising platforms
- Session replay
How to control cookies
Turning off optional measurement removes our Google measurement cookies and reloads this page without optional scripts. The website and enquiry form still work. Existing visitors are asked to choose again when a new measurement provider is introduced; a previous choice is not reused.
On your first visit, we ask whether you want to accept optional measurement or use only essential storage. You can change your mind at any time:
- Clear our site data in your browser— this resets the consent prompt and you can choose again on the next visit.
- Use your browser's privacy controls— most browsers let you block or delete cookies for any site.
