About This Treatment

Lumps, swelling, asymmetry, migration concerns or an unwanted appearance need an individual assessment. Dr Niru will review the history, examine the area and explain suitable options, limitations, risks and referral routes. No corrective procedure or prescription is promised, and urgent symptoms must use emergency care rather than this enquiry pathway.

What the Planned Process Covers

  • A confidential discussion of what concerns you
  • Review of available product and treatment information
  • Assessment of whether the issue is urgent or still settling
  • Balanced options, limitations and referral routes
  • A written plan and price if a non-urgent option is appropriate

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an emergency service?

No. Severe pain, skin blanching or mottling, a vision change, breathing or swallowing difficulty, or rapidly worsening symptoms need urgent medical assessment. Contact the original treating clinician and call 999 or attend A&E for severe symptoms or any vision change.

What information should I bring?

Bring any product card, batch information, treatment notes, dates and photographs you have. Do not delay urgent care while trying to find records.

Will a corrective procedure be offered at the consultation?

Not automatically. The area may still be settling, the product may be unknown, another professional opinion may be needed, or no clinic procedure may be suitable. Any next step requires separate assessment, consent and pricing.

Can Dr Niru assess filler placed elsewhere?

A non-urgent concern can be assessed even when another practitioner placed the filler, but incomplete product or treatment information may limit the options. The original treating practitioner should remain the first contact for an acute complication.
