For Male Patients
Anti-Wrinkle Injections for Men
Subtle, masculine, never overdone. Anti-wrinkle injections done by someone who understands male facial structure — and won't leave you looking like you've had work done.
Why men's anti-wrinkle treatment is different
Most aesthetic clinics treat men as an afterthought — same dose, same placement as for women. The result is often a feminised look: over-arched brows, an unnaturally smooth forehead, eyes that look slightly surprised. Men come away saying “everyone can tell.”
Doing it well requires understanding how male facial structure differs:
- Stronger muscles — typically 20-30% more product needed for the same effect.
- Lower, flatter brow — placement must preserve this; over-treatment lifts the brow into a feminine arch.
- Wider, squarer face — proportions need to be respected, not changed.
- Different aesthetic preferences — most men want to look well-rested, not “refreshed.”

What men typically treat
- Forehead lines — horizontal lines from raising eyebrows
- Frown lines (the “11s”) — vertical lines between eyebrows from concentration/stress
- Crow's feet — lines fanning from outer eye corners
- Bunny lines — wrinkles across the nose bridge from smiling
- Jaw clenching — masseter treatment for teeth grinding (also reduces jaw bulk if desired)

FAQ
Are anti-wrinkle injections different for men?+
Yes. Men have stronger facial muscles and different facial proportions than women. Dosing needs to account for this — typically more units, but placed differently to preserve a masculine brow position. Done badly, men can end up with a 'feminised' look. Done well, you just look refreshed and well-rested.
How much does anti-wrinkle treatment cost for men?+
From £150 for one area, £200 for two areas, £250 for three areas at The Azim Clinic. Most male patients need slightly more product than women due to stronger muscles, but the price stays the same per area.
Will I look 'done' or different?+
Not if it's done conservatively. Dr Niru's approach is always 'less is more' — we'd rather start with a smaller dose and top up at week 2 if needed than overdo it. Friends and family should notice you look well, not done.
Is anti-wrinkle treatment safe for men?+
Yes — anti-wrinkle injections have been used safely in men for decades. The risks (mild bruising, brief headache, very rare drooping if poorly placed) are the same as for women. Choosing a regulated, qualified injector is the single biggest safety factor.
Can men have anti-wrinkle injections in their 20s or 30s?+
Yes, increasingly common. Preventative use can mean smaller doses are needed long-term and lines never get etched in. We'll only treat if there's a clinical reason — never just because you're worried.
How often do men need top-ups?+
Typically every 3-4 months. Some male patients (especially those with very strong muscles or who exercise heavily) metabolise faster and need top-ups every 2-3 months.
